There was plenty of anime, familiar faces, and nearly all genres of gaming received new announcements. Nintendo did some new things this year, including a collaboration with Netflix to present a game based on the Dark Crystal film. They’ve delivered the promise of closer looks at upcoming exclusives while somehow managing to get more third party support than ever. More so than ever, there is something for everyone in the form of high quality, complete games.
In many cases, the unthinkable has happened with the Switch platform proving it won’t be going anywhere for quite a while.
THE WITCHER III: COMPLETE EDITION
It shocked us all, the rumors were true, and now one of the biggest open world western RPG games is making its way to the Nintendo Switch. The Release date is expected to fall some time within 2019. The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is a renowned game full of story, action, an evolving gameplay loop with diverse mechanics, and some magic enchantment about it as well. Now you can take that on the road and easily show the experience off or indulge in a session anywhere.
On top of the main game, the Switch version (Complete Edition) also includes all pre-existing downloadable content released for the game; Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine, and over 16 free DLCs. There are over 250 hours of gameplay on average for this game which has won hundreds of Game of the Year awards.
FIRE EMBLEM THREE HOUSES
One of the ultimate strategy RPG franchises will soon receive its latest landmark entry. As excitement in the fan-base continues to grow, a new trailer was released for Fire Emblem Three Houses. This game is right around the corner as well with a release date of July 26, 2019. There’s also a special version of the game available for pre-order called the Seasons of Warfare Edition.
This edition of the game has been revealed to include a physical copy of Fire Emblem Three Houses with SteelBook, a sound selection CD, art book, and a 2020 calendar. Catch a glimpse of them below.

Link’s Awakening is a Legend of Zelda game which debuted on the Nintendo GameBoy and for the first time has come to life with a whole new game engine and graphics style. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening releases September 20, 2019 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
TRIALS OF MANA

COLLECTION OF MANA
Early 2020 a Trials of Mana remake will be released. For now, however, there is also The Collection of Mana which includes Seiken Densetsu 3 for the first time on North American soil. This is the sequel to iconic action RPG franchise which includes the well-known Secret of Mana title from SNES days. These are also multiplayer games for co-op up to 3 players.

TLOZ: BREATH OF THE WILD SEQUEL
A cinematic CGI trailer revealed that an upcoming sequel is in the works with target graphics looking in-engine and using the same familiar Breath of the Wild aesthetics with Princess Zelda seemingly playing a much larger role and potentially even playable.
It’s out in just a couple of months, and there’s a lot of intriguing gameplay design choices here which could be a formula for success. Astral Chain releases on August 30, 2019 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
LUIGI’S MANSION 3
With multiplayer mode, ScareScraper mode, the towering menace of Luigi’s Mansion 3 is palpable. Introducing brand new gameplay mechanics releasing some time to-to-be-announced during 2019.

New, unannounced or never before seen in-engine games are still being shown off for Nintendo Switch as the Nintendo E3 2019 Treehouse LIVE event goes on throughout the course of the next few days. In addition to these highlights some of the many interesting moments at Nintendo’s E3 2019 included the announcement of two new fighters for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate; The Hero (from Dragon Quest XI) and Banjo-Kazooie (from Xbox / Rare). For fans of the Animal Crossing series, Animal Crossing: New Horizon was also given a first look including actual gameplay on the Nintendo Switch. There was also an extended gameplay showcase for New Horizon during the first day of Nintendo’s Treehouse event as well. Animal Crossing: New Horizons was delayed until March 20, 2020 exclusively for Nintendo Switch, and now features multiplayer!
