In a new South Korean trailer released after a long wait of 6 months, during which COD: Mobile has had some evolution brewing in the background, upcoming features for the full release of the game have been revealed. 현재 사전예약 진행 중! “The long wait is over!” This announcement also comes alongside North American press release.
“We are delivering the definitive, first-person action experience on mobile with signature Call of Duty gameplay in the palms of your hands,” said Chris Plummer, VP, Mobile at Activision.
When it fully launches October 1st it will host a variety of unique gameplay modes including a custom tailored online multiplayer experience as well as a one-of-a-kind Battle Royale mode. In a press release this week Activision Blizzard announced that there will be more modes, content, time-limited events, characters, and items released in a shifting cycle coinciding with the iPhone launch of the iPhone version.
From the development agreement reached between Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation gamers were able to see the breakthrough PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds faithfully recreated for the iPhone and Android platform in the form of PUBG Mobile (over 20 million downloads on Google Play and over 740 thousand positive reviews on the iOS App Store). Through a similar birth of concept seeing Tencent Games establishing yet another big partnership a new Call of Duty: Mobile has been revealed.

For those of you on Galaxy or other Android platforms you may have already been playing the game in Early Access. If so, you’ve likely seen the notices that this week as well as again later in the month around September 30th / October 1st there will be a server maintenance down time period. Auspiciously, downloading and running Call of Duty: Mobile on iPhone using iOS 13 still results in the following error messages. Perhaps a release date should be updated to ease the wait for that segment of gamers.
