In the final events of MK11 a struggle rages on. Today a teaser was released briefly showcasing Young Shang Tsung’s return to Mortal Kombat. A full reveal will launch tomorrow May 6, 2020 for Story DLC & the MK11 Kombat Pack 2.
Ever since DJ Killzown Jones of RGN first confirmed MK11 exists at the Mo Game Con 2018, four months before its reveal at The Game Awards 2018, this modern fighter has had a lot to show for itself and keeps innovating thanks to NetherRealm.

MK11 surprised us with characters like Terminator and The Joker but continues to provide players with a reason to come return.
MK11 is currently rated 87% in recent Steam reviews and 79% in overall Steam reviews (very positive/mostly positive) and MK11’s total sales across PS4, Xbox, Switch, and PC made it the “largest and most successful launch in WB Games history” according to David Haddad, President, WB Interactive.
It is worth noting that this cheerful news does come around the time when E3 hype would normally be starting up, and just after the solemn cancellation of Evo 2020 (Evolution Championship Series, the largest fighting tournament in gaming). This marks the first cancellation in 18 years of an Evo event and will usher in the attempt at bringing the tournament all digital, online, live.
“-we are sadly cancelling Evo 2020 at Mandalay Bay and refunding all purchased tickets,” the organizers said. “But to keep the Evo spirit alive, we’re bringing the event online this summer. More information coming soon!”
