Quakecon 2014: Bethesda Wants Your Blood, Hosting a Blood Drive to Promote The Evil Within

This year at Quakecon 2014, Bethesda Softworks has partnered with The American Red Cross to host “The Good Within Blood Drive”, inspired by their October 21st release, The Evil Within.

In appreciation for donating a few ounces of their life juice, volunteers will receive The Evil Within chill pack, which is a cold pack for lunch boxes/coolers/etc. in the shape of a blood bag featuring red freezable liquid.

ARC External Communications Manager, Jan Hale, expressed appreciation towards Bethesda for hosting the drive, saying “The summer months are a particularly difficult period for blood collections and being a part of this event gives us more opportunities to help save lives.”

The drive will be held at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas on the 18th and 19th of July and those wishing to donate can register with ARC reps in the Topaz room of the hotel on the previously listed dates. Donors must also be at least 17 years of age and meet other ARC requirements.
