Amazon Fire TV Owners Earn “Amazon Coins” For Buying Games

In addition to launching a long-term initiative to achieve their own shipping business (starting with Amazon Dash in a limited area on the west coast by invite only), Amazon recently announced the Amazon Fire TV. With over 130 games currently available on the device, and more on the way – Amazon has released an initiative for players to pick up more and more titles for the device.

Every time gamers buy a game with the Amazon Fire TV, they will receive Amazon Coins which Amazon states are worth $10.00 per 1,000 coins (or $1.00 for 100 coins for example). In the long run, Amazon states that this saves Amazon Fire TV gamers “save up to 10%” similarly to the Kindle Fire App service that gives Amazon Coins for purchases as well.

If you haven’t seen, the exclusive title currently announced for the Amazon Fire TV is Sev Zero which can be obtained for free upon purchase of the Amazon Game Controller. Stay tuned to our Amazon Fire TV Section for more info / vids as they become available.
