Indie Game Pixel Piracy Heads To The Greenlight District And Gets Approved

Just shortly after allowing gamers to pirate their pixels, literally, Vitali Kirpu and Alexander Poyskys’ creation gets greenlit on Steam. Pixel Piracy is a side-scrolling strategy game in which you control the crew of a pirate ship. You sail your ship over a number of sea zones that have procedurally generated events, all the while facing pirates and other hostile forces. You’re also in charge of recruiting new crew members, keeping discipline among your ranks (you don’t want a mutiny on your hands!), along with outfitting and upgrading your ship.

“Our little sociological experiment in Pixel Piracy Piracy is going so much better than we could have possibly conceived.”
