1 Million Xbox One Units Sold Worldwide

Microsoft has revealed that they have already sold 1 million Xbox One units around the world since launch.

“We are humbled and grateful for the excitement of Xbox fans around the world. Seeing thousands of excited fans lined up to get their Xbox One and their love for gaming was truly a special moment for everyone on the Xbox team. We are working hard to create more Xbox One consoles and look forward to fulfilling holiday gift wishes this season.”  – Xbox’s Yusuf Mehdi

The sales of the Xbox One far surpasses that of the Xbox 360’s launch. Here are some pretty awesome player statistics with in the last 24 hours:

  • 3.6 million miles have been driven in Forza Motorsport 5
  • 7.1 million combos have been pulled off in Killer Instinct
  • 8.5 enemies have been slaughtered in Ryse: Son of Rome
  • 60 million zombies have been killed in Dead Rising 3

Sony saw an impressive launch with the PS4 last week as well, selling 1 million in 24 hours in North America alone. The console will launch in Europe on Nov. 29th. Xbox One launched on November 22nd in 13 territories including NA and Europe and will launch in more next year.
