Bethesda’s First E3 Press Event

Bethesda confirmed on June 14th they will be holding their first ever press conference for the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the “Super bowl” of video game industry trade events. The Press Conference will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center this year at E3 2015 and further information about where around the Convention Center it will be is expected to be revealed as E3 approaches. Along with Bethesda’s new Press Conference comes the annual block of Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and Sony Press Conference’s on June 15th 2015 and Nintendo the following day.

Bethesda have yet to give any more information on what to expect at the Press Conference but there is heavy rumor and speculation that Bethesda will announce Fallout 4 the fourth instalment in Bethesda’s critically acclaimed Fallout franchise. Plenty of possibilities are Dishonored which came out in 2012 and a sequel has been in high demand. Further information regarding the new Doom as yet to be released, as for Wolfenstein The New Order and The Evil Within both games were released last year and probably do not merit for sequels. My opinion is that Bethesda will announce Fallout 4 since Bethesda’s last big Role Playing Game (RPG) was The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim which was four years ago so they had to be working on something these past four years.

Expecting Bethesda to Make an Announment in This December’s VGX Awards? Well Don’t Expect too Much.

As most gamers know and or already guessed, fallout is probably (in my opinion) one of the best RPG open world games of all time (not counting Skyrim), with its own unique story, freedom, background, characters, weapons, etc.. But unfortunately our most recent Fallout game was Fallout New Vegas and that was almost 6 years ago (sorry if that’s a year or two off). Although it is a really great game, it can only survive a replay every couple of times before people get tired of having to either kill Mr. House with his own 9 iron or even show Caesar how to fly around with a spear in his throat. Games get boring and unfortunately this late installment has gotten their. I still enjoy it from time to time but as a gamer I look forward to the next installment just like the rest of you. But where is it? Where is Fallout 4? Expecting me to say the announcement will be at the VGX awards? Well sorry, but unfortunately there is no evidence (even with the rumors) that Bethesda is going to talk about or even announce our next Fallout addiction.. I mean game.. Fallout game… yeah that’s what I meant.

But what does it mean and when will Bethesda announce our next adventure? Unfortunately nobody knows. But some do have a bit of an idea on why they are waiting. And my personal theory is that they are getting used to the new consoles, finally being able to give Xbox and PS players a chance at some better graphics isn’t a one month process. Since the tech is new they will have to familiarize themselves with it, it shouldn’t be to bad but it could be Bethesda moving at their own pace. and all I have to say is, DON’T RUSH THEM. As we all know Fallout games tend to be buggy, even after patch after patch. And all in all, we don’t want to rush them, that will lead to them announcing an earlier date than they wanted, and in turn mad gamers who are pissed they can’t get out of whatever area they start in. All in all I say be patient gamers, an announcement will be here soon and you can bet your sweet tooty fruity mc. booties I am going to post it right here on RGN.

The Next Fallout. MMO or No?

Now I know every gamer in the world has at least heard of Fallout.  The game that takes you to the wasteland in a-post apocalyptic war-zone filled with ghouls, mutants,  insanely O.P. Death-claws, and a pop that’s ages old but yet still freaking delicious.  But what happens if you take that setting and combine it with an MMO setting, then what will you get?  Many gamers have already figured Obsidian will continue with yet another Fallout installment, and they already agreed that they are going to.  But what gamers don’t know yet is if it will include online features, and Obsidian hasn’t really given us much, if any information on our next wasteland adventure.  So what’s really in store for us?  Many people are definitely not taking kindly to the rumors of an MMO fallout game though.  Personally I agree.  I wont mind playing with a friend or two but it will get old fast when I start seeing towns lit up by pip-boy lights.  Whats in store for us? who knows.  But there are sooo many possibilities for the new fallout that’s yet to come.  We will just have to wait and see what turns up.  Comment on what you think.  Should are next adventure be MMO, or are just a couple buddies enough to keep you company on the long road ahead?

Fact or Fiction: Obsidian Wants To Make Fallout 4, Bethesda Might Let Them

Chris Avellone from Obsidian Entertainment had an exclusive interview with the guys from gameranx about his teams upcoming game Project Eternity. In that interview they briefly talked about Fallout 4. Chris said that his team would love to develop a new Fallout game, but it’s not up to him. It’s up to Bethesda to give them the go ahead.

An unknown insider claimed that Bethesda has shown a brief trailer for Fallout 4 behind closed doors at this years E3. Also the source claims that Fallout 4 has been in development since January 2011, but only by a limited amount of people because the rest are working on other projects. These claims were denied by by Pete Hines, Bethesda’s VP.

WebHallen, a Swedish retail store has listed many unannounced games that will be on the next gen Xbox ONE and PS4 including Fallout 4. There are dozens of games on this list and with a year that they will launch in. Fallout was listed for release at 2015. This may or may not be true.

All of this is speculation and rumors about Fallout 4. Nothing has been confirmed except that Obsidian wants to make Fallout 4, but it is up to Bethesda.

RealGamerNewz has reached out to our correspondence at Bethesda for Confirmation / Denial of this rumor. Until then we have to assume its a possibility.
