Amazon Italy Lists Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for PlayStation 4 and Possibly Xbox ONE

Despite its own complaints in investor meetings and financial reports about the profitability (or lack thereof) regarding the first release in what has become a complete reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise, Square Enix will not be shying away from their attempts to enchant the public with the new Lara Croft. In addition to a sequel being in the works using much of the already produced technology behind March 2013’s Tomb Raider on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC, it appears that the publisher may also be planning a next-generation port of the title.

Amazon Italy has listed ‘Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition’ with a January 2014 release date and a description explaining that all Tomb Raider (2013) DLC will be included in this package as well as an art book for pre-orders. The Amazon listing has been removed as quickly as it appeared, but the story was broken by a credible mainstream media source linked to below. There’s a chance this port doesn’t exist or won’t be released. But usually when something appears on an Amazon listing it’s a 9 out of 10 chance or greater that it’s the real thing.

IGN Predicting Battlefield 4 To Be Game of the Year – Says BF4 Website’s Source Code

The release of the new Battlefield 4 website has prompted some close examination of the source code to the website which is set to launch a promotional campaign tied with major news media outlet IGN. Dorrin_Verrakai comments on Reddit:

Look at the source code: /* line 97, ../sass/partials/_body.scss */ #promo { position: relative; z-index: 100; height: 175px; padding-right: 30px; } /* line 102, ../sass/partials/_body.scss */ #promo.promo-off { display: none; }

When the promo code is enabled of course it is revealed that according to DICE and EA “IGN Predicting Battlefield 4 to be Game of the Year”. Click here for the full size image. This image is becoming very controversial as the title has likely not been deemed ‘Gold’ yet, therefore IGN’s committed to making comments before seeing the complete version of the title not to mention complete version of other titles. Battlefield 4 was originally shown behind closed doors at the unveiling of PlayStation 4 and is currently rumored to support up to 64 players on the PC though it remains a gray area how the PS4 and PS3 versions of the title will function by comparison.

One thing’s for sure, BF4 is receiving plenty of attention and is highly anticipated as one of the most popular shooters of all time. Keep it locked to RealGamerNewz.com as we reveal more of this title and many other Nex Gen Hits.

Rumor: Deus Ex: Human Defiance and the Nintendo Wii U

Rumors exploded on the internet when Square Enix recently trademarked the title Deus Ex: Human Defiance. Many thought this would be the title of a new Deus Ex title, potentially a sequel to Human Revolution which rebooted the series this generation. However, later reports in fact brought even more interesting truths to light. Deus Ex: Human Defiance will in fact most likely be the name of a Deus Ex movie currently said to be in development.

Today’s news brings another push for the Deus Ex franchise as Deus Ex: Human Revolution has received an ESRB rating, meaning the title will be releasing once again. This time the game is likely to release on the Nintendo Wii U as PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720 are still a way’s off. This game could also be a more inclusive version of the title including DLC or newly polished features. It is currently unknown if this version of the game will be Wii U exclusive or multiplatform. Stay tuned to RealGamerNewz.com and give it a bookmark for the latest updates on this and other Wii U titles.
