PlayStation Home Adds Creepy New Emotes

Sony has released a new trailer detailing new emotes for PlayStation Home. Yeah, remember that? Me neither. But apparently it’s popular enough to still be around but that’s a whole different story. The focus here is the creepy new emotes coming soon. PlayStation Home developer nDream have designed the new emotes which include hugging, kissing, fist bumping, chest bumping, handshakes, and high fives. Ever want to see to lifeless robots do any of those things? Well this paid content in right up your alley if that’s the case.

The two player animations such as kissing and hugging have to be toggled by both players so you can’t just go kissing people without their permission so at least that’s good.

The animations look awkward but that won’t stop people from buying this stuff. How do you feel about having to pay for the option to hug and kiss your virtual significant other? Do you use PlayStation Home? Do you think PlayStation Home is still relevant on PS3? Most importantly do you like seeing virtual people awkwardly hug and kiss like lifeless robots? Let us know in the comments below!

Home Scares Its Way To PlayStation 4 And Vita

Lately survival horror fans have been getting incredible experiences in the form of smaller downloadable titles such as Outlast and Lone Survivor. After being made available to PC and mobile players, a new title called Home is looking to find another place to call home (no pun intended) on Sony’s two newest platforms.

Not much is known about a release date on Sony’s platforms besides that it will release this year. Another unknown is whether these versions of the game will come with exclusive content or any type of cross buy capabilities which Sony has been pushing for with several downloadable indie games.

In my eyes it’s been a rough couple of years for the survival horror genre with games like Dead Space 3 and Resident Evil 6 falling far below fans expectations. It’s been the indie scene that’s been the injecting the survival horror genre with new and unique experiences here lately and I without a doubt cannot wait to see what Home bring to the table later this year.

Three Free PSOne Classic Games Being Given Away Through PlayStation Home

PlayStation Home has a new area and it is called the PlayStation 4 Experience. PS3 players can access this area from the Home’s main hub and take part in the “Quest for Greatness” scavenger hunt. The hunt is for 13 cards that are hidden throughout the area. Completing the quest will earn players downloadable codes for Destruction Derby, Twisted Metal and Warhawk.

At the moment this offer is only available in North America.
