Diablo 3’s Always-Online Requiring Copy Protection Won’t Be On PlayStation 4 / PS3

Blizzard Entertainment recently announced at the Sony PlayStation Meeting 2013 event that they will be bringing their epic Mac/PC franchise Diablo to the console industry. PlayStation 4 will see release of Diablo 3, as well as PlayStation 3. One feature of Diablo 3 that was revolutionary, and not all gamers felt in a good way, was the always-online requiring copy protection. No longer will you be required to be online to prove that you didn’t steal the game, if you purchase it for PlayStation 3 and/or PlayStation 4 that is.
