Marketing campaigns dictate a lot in the video game industry. With the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X (AKA XSX, or just “Xbox”) releasing later this year, we are finally reaching the point of full reveals. What the PS5 will look like exactly, how much it will cost, and the promises of its major features / operating system will all be deciding factors in the purchasing decision this holiday season.
While many analysts are taking the safe bet that the PS5 will perform better next-generation based on PS4’s smash-through sales performance, this industry is often unpredictable and can change with one bad presentation. That’s why this is so important, and is Sony taking their final look left and right before they cross that road.
