BitCoin Value Back Up Above $1K Each, Tesla Car Purchased w/ New Digital Currency

For those unaware BitCoin is a digital currency which goes up and down in value like any other currency or stock market commodity. This morning we’ve seen BitCoins used to buy a Tesla Electric Car and the currency was back up around $1,000 per BitCoin again (and $26 higher since) quelling doubts that the currency may be facing a sort of bubble issue.

Here’s a place where interested parties can check out the current situation with BitCoin: BitCoinity Markets. If you’re an owner of the new currency, here’s one of many places where you can buy some products: BitCoin Store. Keep track of the situation by following RealGamerNewz Tech Section and have yourselves a great Holiday BitCoiners!

Microsoft VS Google: Who’s Stealing Customer Data More? [Tech]

Recently Microsoft took their ‘You’ve been “Scroogled”‘ smear campaign against Google a step further. For those who don’t know MS has been running ads for well over a year now pointing the finger at Google and Gmail for “stealing” customer information. In reality, both companies are guilty of this as Microsoft’s Skype and Xbox ONE products are known to cooperate with PRISM, the National Security Agency (NSA) project.

Microsoft put some ‘You’ve been Scroogled'” T-Shirts and Coffee mugs on sale (complete with Google Chrome logos) and it turns out Google employees are purchasing these as a joke and also make the argument that in order to buy them you need a Microsoft Account with full identity information. Who’s really stealing more customer data? We at RealGamerNewz aren’t really sure, but take a look at these ridiculous ‘back-and-forth’s between the two less-than-professional companies’ representatives and their so-called crimes against privacy.

***Editor’s Note: It’s important that we make readers aware that Google has said its users “can’t expect privacy” (word for word quotation that their own search engine can give you plenty of sources on) and Microsoft, Google, Apple, alongside many other software giants have admitted publicly that they are working with the United States spy program for the NSA. There’s nowhere to turn though, this is truly a global thing and it is here to stay protesting be damned. These faux-battles between MS and Google are likely a trick to get people out of the loop thinking that only one company is responsible for spying. Here’s some more information as well as the back and forth bullying between Google and Microsoft in the form of memes created by them and their supporters.

Mozilla Lightbeam Add-On Shows All Third Party Tracking Occurring On Your Web Browsing Behavior

Lightbeam for Mozilla has been released as a web-browser add-on which will allow you to find out who is tracking you, what data they are collecting, how often they are collecting it, and enable you a number of privacy maneuvers regarding these types of third-party cookies and tracking systems. You’ll be able to check out a graph, clock-display, and list versions of this interaction which can be filtered by recent sites, last 10 sites, and more. Find the add-on yourself at the Official Mozilla Lightbeam Website and find out what websites are keeping track of you, or as Mozilla puts it in their statement:

“Lightbeam is a Firefox add-on that uses interactive visualizations to show you the first and third party sites you interact with on the Web.”

Previously we also put out something related to this phenomena of privacy versus advertising which RealGamerNewz Tech Section readers may want to see called “How To Stop the Internet From Spying On You – Opt Out of Online Behavioral Advertising”.

Sony Bravia Smart Stick Will Compete w/ Google Chromecast

If you’re a Film / TV show fanatic that prefers cheap streaming services over the heavily over-priced cable services out there, the Google Chromecast probably caught your attention when it released recently. Sony aims to compete with their own little plug-and-play device called the Sony Bravia Smart Stick. The concept behind both devices is that you 1) plug either into the HDMI port of your television set, 2) use any wireless device such as smartphones to pick what you want to watch on YouTube, Netflix, Google Play, etc., 3) sit back and watch on the TV. Hulu is also working on bringing support for their Hulu+ streaming service to the device as well. The main interest in the Chromecast was that it only costed $35 though, if Sony plans on charging anything more they better have a lot more features for their Bravia Smart Stick. The good thing is we will find out soon enough tech junkies! Sony is expected to reveal the device in full today and deliver even more details as the week goes forward.

New PlayStation 4 Design Overview

So now we all know how Sony’s PlayStation 4 looks like in design, in many ways it looks cool different and I kind of like it that way. The angled parallelogram design of the PlayStation 4 looks like it combines PlayStation’s of the past, looking like the PlayStation 2. It’s an attractive look, but kind of boxy but it is not as big as the Xbox ONE. But as I said before it’s different and I like it very much its very eye appealing and its fun to look at something I’ll look at before I walk out the door every morning.

To me design means nothing in any way I really don’t care I just want to play games but now I know What it really looks like now I know how it will look next to my television which is next to my PlayStation 3 next to my cable box which the good thing is, it’s all black so no eye sore for me if it was a different color. As of the design for the PlayStation controller design is something also that is different

Sony has kept kind of the same controller design just with a bit of changes or you can say many changes with the same feel, some things did appeal to me when I took a good look at the analogue sticks will have lips so your fingers wont slip off in your most intensive moments in game play and online game play (hate being killed because my thumb slipped). Also the trigger buttons are more improved giving it a much better feel and there is no more start and select now there is option and share buttons. The share button once pressed you can record gameplay to show off your skills to your friends or just to post on media websites and the good thing about is it will not use any other system resource to do so. Another cool thing about the controller is the touch pad screen with 1920 x 900 resolutions and with a sound notifying you when you have pressed it when the time comes for you to use it, the light bar in front will change colors if you’re player 1, 2, 3, and 4 and also has the headset jack and with mono speakers on it.

The analogue sticks are more improved as well more responsive it also features new three-axis gyroscopic motion sensor and three-axis accelerometer. The camera is tracking every move you make with great accuracy and rotational movement as well also having a headset post in front of the controller under the light bar. The touch pad on the DualShock 4 is capable of simultaneous inputs.

The Sony PlayStation eye has been drastically upgraded which now comes with two 1280 x 800 cameras and a 85-degree field of view with four microphones along with two cameras to work with the DualShock 4 controllers for movement tracking. So all of these new designs and how everything is tied together all of the angles that will make everyone look at its slick design can just make you want to buy one just by looking at it if you’re not that much of a gamer all in all I love how everything is and I’m happy with what I see.
